Nano-X Window System 的消息

今天接到 Nano-X Window System (也就是 Microwindows) 的設計人暨 Century Software CEO -- Greg Haerr 的來信，對於我之前作的 [Kaffe 新的 AWT backend -- Nano-X] 給予肯定，這是網路與 Free/Open-Source 令人著迷之處，可以很方便的與遙遠的創作切磋，有了前輩的鼓舞後，真讓我熱血不已，迫不及待要繼續來 cvs commit 新的 changes 了 :-)

利用這個機會，我順便問及 Nano-X Window System 的 cvs repository 出了什麼問題？因為似乎很久無法使用了，Greg 回覆道：

"I have been having problems with CVS since I replaced my server with a new box. The file microwindows-src-snapshot.tar.gz, although old, is very very close to the latest CVS. Pull it off the web site. You'll notice that there are some changes to the make system, which allow Microwindows to be built for different architectures without requiring multiple trees to be pulled."

而，Nano-X Window System 的首頁也提及：

"The CVS source release will be packaged and released as v0.91 shortly. Quite a few enhancements and patches have been received, which will be released as v0.92."

所以，咱們耐心等待吧。
