探討 Web Design 可用性
LinuxDevices.com 刊載了一篇報導 [Online video tackles design for usability]，介紹 Ziff Davis Media 執行編輯 (well，我實在不清楚這個職稱該怎麼翻譯) Mike Elgan 與 Microsoft 的 Web design 大師 -- Jakob Nielsen 博士的對話，相當引人入勝。新聞稿的簡介為：

Nielsen addresses the challenges of designing for usability, and discusses ways to maximize application usability for average users. He covers a wide range of topics, ranging from the proper attitude for programmers, to the importance of prototyping in design, to the reasons why PDF, Flash, and local search engines can hurt more than they help.
While much of the discussion focuses on web design, many of the principles discussed -- such as prototyping, and simple strategies for usability testing -- are equally applicable to embedded software design.
